A combo card from me today....I hadn't finished my card for this week's CAS-dog days of summer. No dogs, but a red tailed hawk. All of my family love to bird watch, especially in the summer months and we especially like all raptors. The sentiment stamp is a partial, there is a bird also but I masked that off.
This is also for today's WT-double embossing. I used the ef backwards, was in a rush but I still like it. I used a green stash background, maybe DOx ink on it and I added my TLC technique of faux wood burning for the hawk. You can still see some of the green. Thanks for all these challenges.

That hawk is the coolest stamp ever, and you've displayed it in a great setting. I assumed you meant to emboss it as you did because it works very well that way.

I adore that hawk image! Wonderful saying, and the ef looks fine. We love raptors too. Last summer we had a cooper's hawk perch on one of our trees for most of the day. He came back for a few days, then we didn't see him again. It felt like we had lost a pet!

Great card, Jean! I like the look of the hawk! I got a lot of green with my early espresso inking, too! I'm going to try walnut stain distress ink, to see if it will stay brown! I like the technique!

There is such wonderful majesty in this image. Great masculine card.
