This is for Sabrina's TLC this past Monday and the WCW- geraniums. I had a panel of 'pounced' acrylic paint, added one more layer of paint with Kleenex, didn't leave any bits but I think it looks 'faux' enough. I did draw the geranium myself, as you can tell, because it's straight as a soldier. Added some splatters and doodling to distract you, the viewer, from my childish drawing. The painting part?? I'd like to try again. I printed out the artist's drawing, added water, the paper turned green!!! Green ink from the printer?? My brush and water were clean. Yikes!!
PS finally had a chance to look at last Saturday's IC, I added this to that gallery and this is what inspired that: https://gardencollage.com/inspire/fl...ng-a-geranium/

That is a pretty geranium and I love the flower pot. I used a stamp this week for my geranium. Of course, that was much easier. Ha

You really did a great job on the geranium flower. The shading is spot on. They really do have a straight stem. Glad you played with the challenge. TFS

I love your geranium, Jean - straight or not. The pot is beautiful, I'd be happy to have one like that in real life. The geraniums are a great pairing with your background, and the added spatter looks super.
It doesn't surprise me that you had issues with your printer. I can't even get mine to print a thing on anything other than copy paper. I love what you did for the challenges. Great job with the drawing. It's HARD. I used a clip art line drawing and traced mine. Your doodles and the background are fantastic. Everything works together beautifully!
