For the Fan Club Christmas challenge: A Christmas Story. I don't believe I've ever watched it completely...not my favorite, too strange for me. My brother in law is crazy about it. That Santa scene.....whooo boy. I focused on snowflakes and made it slimline because I'm in a slimline Christmas swap.
And for the WT, I made it a Scandinavian Christmas. Did a little doodling on the left side.

Wonderful card, and definitely evokes that part of the world! I had a trip planned to Finland earlier this summer, but backed out due to it's proximity to Ukraine and Russia. Another time! Super doodling!

Lovely card for your challenges. I love the embossed deer and those trees.

It's interesting how some movies really strike a chord with some and others do not. My husband and I tried but this just isn't our favorite either. I think the Santa scene stuck in my head because I remember standing in a long line scared silly, wishing we could just go home! We were too poor for Santa to bring us what we wished for anyway! LOL Anyway, I love what you did with the inspiration from both challenges! This is so gorgeous! I like the mix of elements you added!

I am right there with you on The Christmas Story movie. So many either really love it or really don't. I am happy to not have to watch it ever again but when friends come visit at the holidays that one seems to get watched. I love your wonderful doodling on the left side and what a great card to represent Sweden.

Love all the northern European elements here! Especially that leaping deer! Your doodling fits the style wonderfully. I haven't watched that movie either. :-) Great way to use the slimline format.
