Here is a card after my own heart. I spend a lot of time at a lake in the summer. This is for Lisa's Sketch challenge this week. The pier is a 2 layered stamp in two shades of brown. I masked and sponged the sky and sun. I added some detail to the grass with darker green ink.

Oh...beautiful card! Love the restful feel of this card, Ann!
So nice to known the back story on your summer lakeside residence! With our unusual heat the last 5 days (92-95...today 79), would love to have been near a lake!

Being near a lake in the summer would be so nice. Great card depicting that thought. Had to chuckle at your comment Denise about not being able to jump off a dock today. My sentiments exactly!!

Cool card! I always loved the lake in the summer and this is a wonderful depiction of what I remember - just running and diving in! Those were the days.
