I had so much fun doing the faux tearing technique for DTGD I just had to do it again! I love the results. I chose this Northwoods lake scene for my beach. It's part of a much larger stamp but I decided to spotlight this bit. It's so peaceful and relaxing.

Any water -- lake or stream -- in the mountain is my go-to place for peace and contemplation. This scene is gorgeous and beautifully colored. I love that you spotlighted this section of the stamp. And the popping up the base layer really adds to the depth and look. Gorgeous card.

The partial image is very effective - gives the effect of looking down into the valley where the lake is. That looks just like your sort of ideal summer vacation ;-).

How gorgeous this is, and what an absolutely ingenious way to use just a part of a stamped image - thanks for the idea!! Beautiful and soothing, I want to go there!!

This is a beautiful card. My favorite beaches are always by mountain lakes and I love how you chose to focus on this portion of the stamp. Clever design.

Lovely Copic coloring of your peaceful cabin at the lake scene!
