This week's Featured Stamper, Kristen (aka tblmom) has a fun and festive Gallery filled with beautiful cards, wonderful designs and great colors and dp. I had so much fun looking through her Gallery. I am using two of her cards this week for my inspiration. I loved the nested circle elements on this fabulous card: Pretty Pumpkins by tblmom at Splitcoaststampers. I knew I wanted to change her pumpkins to flowers and loved the colors on this beauty: Simply Said by tblmom at Splitcoaststampers.
I kept her white embossed basketweave bg; the scallop circles and her layout. I change the pumpkins to flowers; used different colors and a different occasion.
The card is just emboss, die cut and glue. Originally, I was going to stamp and die cut my flowers when I remembered I had just received this new flower die. It was exactly the look I had in my mind and, bonus, it reminded me of the flowers on Kristen's card. When I laid out my pieces, I thought the smaller scallop looked better, but once everything was actually glued down, I wish I had used the larger scallop instead. Next time because I can see doing this card for several people on my list.
Congratulations Kristen. You have a delightful Gallery and I look forward to seeing it grow. I hope you enjoy the cards you have inspired this week. Hope everyone is enjoying their day and the pleasures of simple things like flowers and polka dots. TFL.

Debbie, this is a great case of Kristen's card. I love that you kept the layout but changed up the theme and color combination. The flowers layered over the circle background and frame are so interesting.
