I am in the "Christmas Zone" right now making as many handmade Christmas cards as I can, using as many challenges as I can to inspire me, too.
I stamped out my image and diecut the side off using my Spellbinders border dies and colored everything in using my Copics. I created my layers I wanted and sponged everything with Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress Inks to age it and give it a vintage look and feel.
I used some puffy popdots to pop my items off the card for depth and to keep everything from feeling "flat" and uninteresting. I added some lace, silk ribbon and dark blue pearls to complete the look.

Great coloring! And I like these layers...there is a little lace in the image so having it on the card is terrific. Plus lace just always makes vintage so extra pretty. Lovely card!
