As I was searching the site, I came across this beautiful garden. Although, I don't know how I feel about it being associated with LeBron. He has nothing to do with it, other than being from Akron.
I do have some history with Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens. My husband is a relative of the Seiberlings. I have visited this fabulous place many times, & it is just beautiful. One thing I'd like to mention, is that in the Gate House where Irene Seiberling lived to the ripe old age of 100+; AA was started there. That's all I know about AA. Anyway, the grounds & the manor house are just as beautiful as the pictures shown on the site.
I just chose one of the pictures of flowers & used this image from Tech Tues. I colored with StampinWrite markers. The leaves are Cert Celery, the flowers are Blushing Bride & Pink Pirouette. The sentiment is from SU Tasteful Touches.
Thanks for letting me brag a little on my hubby.
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, wow, hubby a relative to the Seiberlings. I don't think you were bragging but it is something to brag about. I am glad you told us that. And, what a stunning place. The gardens are beautiful and I loved the birch trees. I don't blame you for visiting there a lot. It kind of reminds me of Biltmore House and Gardens. I have been there and would love to go back since it has been quite a while. I sure would love visiting this place, also.
I love your beautiful peony that you have colored so beautifully and I love the colors, too.

Karen, I'm so glad that, along with sharing your lovely card, you shared your 'insider' information about this lavish estate .... how wonderful that your dh is related to the Seiberling family and you've had the opportunity to visit those beautiful gardens! I loved reading the history of Stan Hywet and looking at the gorgeous photos.
