This is my card for this week's Ways To Use It challenge hosted by Sabrina! This week we are using local landmarks to make our card.
I opted for CAS and found this old postcard at a yard sale with the Seattle skyline. While I live north of Seatttle, it is the nearest big city that most would recognize. I trimmed down the postcard to capture the Space Needle and Mount Ranier. Bonus, if you look closely, you can see the domed and lighted roof of the Kingdome beneath the mountain. The Kingdome was demolished 22 years ago, so you know the postcard was old.
Thanks for looking!

Ah, the Space Needle. It's really hot where you are right now, but I understand it's also really beautiful!

I'm laughing, because I have a cityscape stencil and I never knew it was meant to be Seattle till someone commented on the Space Needle. So I definitely recognised it in your great postcard - and that is a PERFECT way of illustrating where you live. As always, I really like your textured background.

Creative idea to use a postcard. You created a wonderful card with it. I was only once to Seattle years ago, but thought it was a lovely city...enjoyed Pike Market and all the coffee shops.

What a great find at the yard sale and perfect for the challenge Toni. I have a friend that lives in the Seattle area. When he left my company he called me to make sure he would still be on my Christmas card list. It made my day. Every time I think of Seattle I think of him.
