Brenda gave us a challenge this week on painting loosely. It is one of the hardest techniques for me. It was a great video, tried to follow what she did. Especially liked how she sketched with the watercolor pencils. Will do that more. Her way of holding the brush helped me paint loosely. I didn't make a card just a painting. My petals should be more jagged, but the realism came out when I was sketching them at the end. Hope you come and join us and share your painting. TFL

These flowers look so realistic and natural. How you arranged them on the composition has that sense of natural flow on how they grow amongst each other. Excellent!

I just love how you painted your coneflowers and how you used the pencil. I loved that part on her video. The background looks great.
