This is my card for Beverly's DTGD22rubyheartedmomB challenge. She wants us to rescue something that you would normally throw away.
What! You're not a fan club member. Join here now and you can play along with us for all the challenges hosted by the DD design team members and alumni. There are prizes! You have until July 29 to upload cards.
I received this beautiful card from a friend for my birthday last year. I knew at some point I wanted to reuse the front of it. It is a reproduction of an original monoprint. It is titled "German Bouquet".
So, I cut the card front down and mounted it on black and then poppy red cardstock. Cut my prayers phrase in poppy red and also black. I moved the red slightly off center so a bit of the black would show for added interest.
My Prayers from the heart phrase is a sticker book from Tim Holtz. So many great phrases in this book. I needed a sentiment card for a friend who passed away.
