For my card, I followed a sketch by SugarPea Designs, SugarSketch08 from 2014 (SPDSS0.
I selected two red, white, and blue patterned papers from the same collection and added red cardstock as a mat for both the larger size and the smaller size patterned elements. I used a corner rounder on the smaller patterned element for two of the corners.
I stamped the sentiment and cut the fishtail end by hand. I stamped the cat with pompoms and the stars, and then colored with alcohol markers and cut out with matching dies. I used clear Stickles in the center of the pompoms.
I like that there is a heart on the cheer outfit to tie in with the heart on the megaphone from the inspiration item.
