This is for Misti's DTGD challenge to case one of Karen's many beautiful cards as a tribute to Karen. She was such a good friend and is definitely missed.
I changed the rectangle to an oval and stamped my flower directly on the panel I eliminated a layer and changed the colors.
I die cut my scalloped oval and went to work stamping. This is the first time using this lovely stamp set that was a gift from my sweet girls. I chose to stamp the sentiment in one of the flower colors but first dipped it in Versamark so I could clear heat emboss it.
I embossed the background panel and then rounded a couple of the corners. The flower panel is popped up with foam tape.
Karen was such a beautiful friend and very talented card maker. Thank you for this challenge, Misti, and thanks for looking.

Gorgeous iris! My mother's favorite flower, in all the wonderful colors. My personal favorite is the purple, just like you've done it!
