For the Mixability challenge, I used acrylic paints on the Coastal Weave EF to get a matte finish and to add color. The sentiment is stamped in dye ink. The sweet theme comes from the Mixability as well. I think the inside sentiment (below) is suitable for a sweet sixteen card.
For the Inspiration challenge I chose the pineapple image attached to the challenge--but I couldn't find it to link it. From that photo I used the pineapple, the plank bg, the silver cord is inspired by the silver rings, and the jewels are inspired by the beaded bracelet.
For my DTGD challenge and continuing with my MIL challenges--trash rescue--my MIL was throwing out a pineapple placemat. It had some great tropical images on it, so I rescued it. The pineapple and the banana leaf are from that placemat. I also rescued an envelope that had a wood grain on it. The coastal weave piece covers up the postmark...
Inside is the pineapple sentiment: Be a pineapple, stand tall, wear a crown, & be sweet on the inside.

You turned a pineapple placemat into a gloriously loively card!
(The entire bg of my card was from the catalog cover.....I added the red striped umbrella and beach chair) : ) Guess it was sucessful, if you couldn't tell.
What a fantastic card! Love the tropical look, the pineapple and that wonderful leaf. Thank you for sharing the inside sentiment as it is sooo perfect for your beautiful card.
