I was able to use a particularly unsuccessful stencil deboss (Acrylic Stencil Deboss Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers) background. It's a technique I like, but the colours here were not a good choice here. The hexagon stencil had always made it a natural to use with a bee theme, to tone it down a bit I overlaid it with vellum cut with the TH Mixed Media #1 dies. I stamped the sentiment, and to make adding the vellum easy, I just wrapped it around each side.
The flowers are from a piece of serendipity background, cut with a Spellbinders daisy topper, and with centres punched from a tomato paste tube. The bees are Elizabeth Crafts, and the foliage is Sizzix. I cut them from photo paper, leaving some white and colouring the others with alcohol inks. I used Stickles on the wings for the bees, and added some Posca pen dots.

This is SWEET! Love the velum overlay and it does work perfectly on this design. I can't image how the base layer looked before you worked your magic, but it looks great as you have it here. Love when you use paste tubes for part of your elements. Wonderful finishing touch to those sweet flowers. Fabulous design and card.

Oh how lovely and what a nice way to start my Saturday morning. The colors, textures and different mediums are amazing. I wish I had a huge wall version for daily positivity and inspiration. I will add this to my pinterest page fir inspiration. After 2 years of the pandemic I finally had COVID I was super sick with breathing issues. Etc for 3 weeks. Lost 7 pounds and I am thin to begin with. Slowly getting my strength back. Unfortunately, I did not even have the energy to craft while I was sick. Your card has really given me the desire tomato something. Thanks for sharing your beautiful creation.

Sabrina, the vellum honeycomb layer over the bg is stunning. The bg worked out beautifully(sometime "saves" turn out better than the original!) Sweet bees and the PERFECT Bible quite. Truly a magnificent card!

Another great creation! Lots to look at...what a great idea to do the vellum to cover the not well loved BG...now it works really well! And then we get the bees and flowers too! With a bit sparkle to boot!
