This was done for Shelly's Dare to get Dirty challenge seen here. I started setting all the drop pieces from all the cards I have made along the way into a pile so, I had this base made for a while and I knew I wanted something Christmas-y to go as a focal point and nothing I had previously colored was working so, it took me a while to figure out a way to use the background without covering it up completely. I love how this turned out, not sure who is going to get it yet but, I will probably add the sentiment to the inside later.
Are you playing along with us? You can find more details on how-to here. Thanks for looking.

Stacy, that is one beautiful poinsettia and love how gentle the striped scraps coordinate with it. Awesome card!

Great 'strips' background, but your poinsettia , for sure, is stealing the show!!! Gorgeous water coloring! Thanks so much for joining in my challenge!
