I've never done paper-piecing before, so I looked it up on The Frugal Crafter. Having now tried it with cheap paper, I'm a lot wiser, lol. I stamped the same image on several pieces of paper and cut out each petal and flower and glued them down with matte medium, some layered. I dragged a fine piece of inky fibre across the card, so I had to cover it with a white pen!
It's very flat. I should have 1) used thicker paper, 2) heat set the VersaFine, 3) raised the layers slightly. At least I know for next time, lol.
