Karen has some of my favorite colors for this week''s challenge.
Once I had colored this lovable moose with neutrals and Karen's colors I decided to make some of my own patterned paper to match the scarf. I added Pear Pizzazz stripes to a Pool Party striped piece I'd uncovered while "cleaning" and then overstamped the whole piece with the Knit Together background stamp inked with more Pool Party. I added some definition with one of the Stitchery stamps in Tuxedo Black.
If you look closely you will see that Poppy Parade Hat and border trim have been stamped with the Knit Together stamp too.
I hope you find a way to fit in these fun colors while you are working on your DTGD cards - Did you noticed that there is even a challenge to make your own DSP? Have fun!

So cute! Love how you created your own DSP on the side to match the hat & scarf. Clever idea. Love the sentiment, too. Wonderful use of the challenge colors. Great card!

That striped paper! Wow! It is so perfect and looks as though it came from the factory that way. You are so creative, Chris! I learn something from you each week! The moose is awfully cute!

I wondered how you got that hat to look like it's really knitted- what an awesome touch for your adorable moose card! It's the little details you include that make your work so stellar!
