This is for Shelly's Dare to Get Dirty challenge. I have lately been on a mission to use up a few 6x6" patterned paper pads that are almost exhausted anyway. The "Hello Sunshine" pad was one of those. I had only 2 sheets left, & was determined finally to kill it. So I cut the sheets into strips to create a woven panel.
To weave the strips, I cut a piece of copy paper to 6x6", and covered one side with Stick It adhesive sheet. I adhered one end of several strips to one edge of that paper (to act as my warp pieces) and then started weaving the other strips into those. I used the adhesive on the copy paper to hold everything down as I wove. If I needed to, I was able to pull up the weaving to make adjustments. After I finished, I used my Teflon bone folder to burnish the woven panel into the adhesive, to attach it securely. Then I was able to use it as a single (solid) panel, rather than messing with loosely woven strips.
This card, once I got the woven panel done, came together super fast. I created a 5x7" white card base, & adhered a panel of yellow cardstock to the front. I glued on my woven panel, cocking it at a slight angle in one corner for a bit of fun, & stamped my greeting along the bottom of that. Easy peasy!

Wow, Andrea, this is amazing!! You wove them so perfectly - another wow! It's beautiful on screen, but I imagine it must be even more so in person since you can see and feel the texture. Thanks for sharing this!

Wow, your paper weaving is awesome! I love how tightly woven it is. I never get that good of results, but it is such a fun technique. Great card.
