Well, I normally try not to post butt ugly cards, but I wanted to indicate I'd had a go at this technique, which did not work for me. The inks just didn't transfer properly to the paper. This was my third go at it. I ended up painting the ink into the recesses by hand and getting the titanic white to cover the leaked ink on the leaves. I didn't even waste any pearls, which would have looked nice along the edges. I think this one goes into the bin after the challenge!! :-P

Renata, I'm sorry you found this technique so frustrating. I know how I feel about a card that was hard to make and didn't turn out at all like I had hoped. I must say that I love the embossed pattern you used and I think the card is really lovely. I am glad you kept at it and uploaded it and shared your experience. Thanks so much for making a card for my challenge.

I think it’s gorgeous. Sometimes we are our own worst critic. I’m sure there’s someone out there who would treasure it. Happy day

This is one of those eye of the beholder things, I tend to lean a little clean and simple in tastes so, I think this is very gorgeous. the colors are serene and your inking is very well done
you might want to just set it aside and think about it for a while.

Renata,
Oh but this is still lovely. You could add some darker color to it after the fact. I still say it is lovely as is. Sorry you had trouble with this technique.
