I just got my new Strathmore Postcards paper in the mail from A Cherry on Top and I couldn't wait to tear it open and color up an image, so I selected the "Watercolor Roses" from Picket Fence Studios because it really filled out all the open space in the Postcard Paper that I wanted.
After heat setting the image, I colored everything in with my new Distress Inks: Villainous Potion, Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves, and Mermaid Lagoon for the Blue Background. I used some yellow and orange Aqua Markers to color in the centers of the flowers to add that pop.
To create the clean edge of my image, I taped off a "frame" with painters tape before sponging my edges with Antique Linen and more Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink.
