Todayâs Tea Party is for MaryJoâs husband (Icela52). Nick has just been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemo. MaryJo is sure that our cards will cheer and encourage Nick. Jacqueline has challenged us to use half circles on our cards to represent the shape of Nickâs camper that he enjoys. The half-circle shape worked out perfectly as a fun shape to my card. I have quite a few fun camping digis that Iâve downloaded at various times for free from designbundles.net. I hope Nick likes this one. You know how I canât stop foiling and as always Iâve made two cards. This one uses the foil on the X-Press It paper. The other one uses the negative foil on a toner sheet. Iâm going to mail that one to Nick. I accidentally bought peel and stick toner sheets, so when I mail this to Nick, he can peel it off and use it as a sticker on something. I had some DP in my head that I wanted to use on this card, but when I went looking for it, I found this paper that I didnât even know I had. Score! OMG. Itâs perfect. I didnât want to leave it with just that paper, so I die cut a little strip of grass for the bottom of the paper. Then I thought about how much better the card would be with a little camping critter on it.
I hope youâll join us in this weekâs Tea Party and please reach out to me if you have anyone that you would like to nominate for a future Tea Party.

Gorgeous paper. Amazing foiling. I think I have those symptoms too, LOL. And I'm so glad you added the raccoon, he really makes the card. I like the stamping on the grass, too.

You did have the perfect arch for your great digi (I think I have those symptoms too) as well as the perfect dp for the bg. The grass with the cloth stamp looks fab! And I think that rascally raccoon was a great addition. He kinda makes the card for me. Awesome design and I imagine Nick will adore this.

Adorable and fun card- the foiling is a great touch and how fun you can use that piece for a sticker too! Love that you added the critter- off to raid a cooler for sure!
