This is my sample for CC904. Jeanne is our hostess and she chose parakeet party, polished pink, coastal cabana and blushing bride for her color combo. Dessert option is Christmas in July. The Friday F4A646 challenge is also Christmas in July. So, I am entering it there as well.
For my card I used dies from CottageCutz to create an outdoor ice-skating scene. The neutral shades of smoky slate and mossy meadow are used for the mountains & trees.
My background paper is from the Stampin' Up "snowflake splendor" collection. For the skating ice I used the "simply marbleous" dsp in coastal cabana.
The sentiment is stamped in polished pink ink, and I added a few iridescent snowflakes to complete my card.
Hope you can play along with us with these bright and fun colors. I loved working with them for my card.

Mary this is such a happy card! Those skaters do look joyful! I love the combination of papers that you used and the marble paper really does look like ice.

So cute and joyful. Love the outdoor scene with the ice skaters. Perfect for the challenge colors. The papers are perfect for the icy pond and sky. Terrific sparkle for the snow. Wonderful card and inspiration!

Mary, your ice skaters look so happy to be outside having fun on a cold winter's day! I love how you "dressed" them in this week's colors. Very effective use of DS papers for ice and sky. Adorable!

This brings back sweet memories of skating at the pond just a 1/4 mile down the road from our house. It was always a winter treat. Wonderful scene, Mary! How fun to see the snow capped mountains and a tree line in the bg & I love the look of this sentiment~
