This weeks CAS challenge, CAS 697 Gingham Smiles! (week of July 4, 2022), was to make a cheerful card using gingham.
The challenge was the inspiration behind this multi-layered, very feminine wedding card. The card size started out as an A2 and grew to an A6 size as I realized that the soft Seafoam stamped panel faded into the background without extra layers to give it some separation. Hence the dry embossed white panel and the stamped soft Seafoam panel.
This was a fiddly card to make, only because of design changes I made on the fly. My stamping desks are a testament to the chaotic creation of this card! Oy! Please tell me Im not the only one who has to schedule a major clean up after a card making sessionâe¦
This was a fun challenge and SO satisfying to have a card completed two whole days before it was needed! Haâe¦
Happiest of wedding wishes to Robyn and Bryan, may their life be full of love and their love be full of life!

Faving this wonderfully sweet summer wedding card, Susy. Love the fronds using that bird punch! Your colors are so pretty and what is not to like about gingham. The torn edge revealing the pretty ef and the vellum square adds so much interest. Ha, and no you are not alone in the clean up chore! The downside of making a card, lol....
