When I read the sad news of Kandi's DH passing, I immediately thought of this card that she made and generously sent it to me while I was ailing back in Feb 2018. I found it right away and decided to embellish it a bit more and send it back to her. This is her original: A Zinger of a Get Well Card by Kemernow at Splitcoaststampers
I covered her "Get Well: message with embroidered applique flowers, added "Thinking of You" to the teacup, and attached the letter "K". So my word is Tea and I wish I could have a comforting cuppa with Kandie right now.

What a beautiful tribute and way to connect with Kandi. I bet she will adore receiving this Artzadoni embellished gem. Love how you modified the original for this occasion -- so clever using those appliqué flowers and the addition of the "K". Perfect way to send a big loving hug to a friend and fellow card maker. Genius!

What a fabulous way to give back to Kandi. I'm sure she will be thrilled to know you kept this card all these years and have further embellished and altered it to give it back.

What a fun idea to embellish a card she sent to you. I like your additions, great way to conceal the original sentiment and the added letter K on the cup. Love it!

What a cool idea...I'm sure she'll love seeing this come back to her with some added bits of love and caring. And tea is a good word....very calming and soothing.

This was such a wonderful thought to re-send her card to you with a few changes! The card is cheerful with these happy colors and I'm sure we will be so touched by this.
