Frog tape in UK sticks firm to my watercolour paper but will rip it as you lift. I had to trim my panel because of this but then applied the heat gun to help the tape lift.

I think sometimes its the paper too, I have better luck with it on my better papers. I do use the "delicate" one in the yellow box too if you can find that version. but, reading about the heat to release it is brilliant! I love that you did a Christmas card Janine.

The rough watercolor paper gives the ornaments a look of beads. Very pretty. I found that the tape worked best for me with the hot press because of its smoothness. Will try your tip of the heat gun. Thanks for playing and sharing with us this week.

Fabulous creation. I love your ornaments against the dark watercolor. Great tip on the heat gun.

I am so sorry to hear your frog tape ripped your paper. I remember having some sort of problem with the tape the first time I used it but it's been a while and I don't know what the problem was because it worked beautifully for me this time. Your ornaments are outstanding and I am drawn in by the blue color values! Such a beautiful painting!
