This is a sample for Lori's Dare to Get Dirty challenge--black on black. I LOVE black on black! Normally, when I do black on black, I use textures and die cuts to make it. However, I'm not at home and my die-cutting machine is far, far away. Dollar Tree was my best friend for making this card. The base is a shiny report folder from the school supply section. The words are laser cut wood from the craft section. The epoxy square is also from the craft section. I painted the words and the sticker with nail polish from the cosmetics section. (Turns out nail polish is paint that shines and comes with its own paintbrush!) Not from Dollar Tree is the textured paper from Hobby Lobby and the faux leather piece cut from an old date book cover.
