I went across the middle of the Tic-tac-toe board with Texture - Sentiment - Vine.
About a year ago I found a great recipe to make homemade texture paste and worked the math to make smaller batches so I could easily do colors by substituting "other than white" acrylic paint to the recipe. This one I started with Fucshia and then added a bit of Petunia Purple to part of it so I could not only have texture but color variations as well.
While my paste was drying, I die cut the romantic vines and sentiment. I love the look of the Wonky squares BUT trying to get the sentiment straight was pretty impossible for someone with skewed vision so in desperation I added a couple of strips of satin ribbon to give my eyes somewhere to focus. I decided I liked that little extra. I also scattered some sequns in a pinkish-purple color that mimics the texture paste.
Small batch Texture Paste:
1/4 c Cornstarch
2 T. White Glue
1 T. Acrylic Paint
Stir together to form a silky smooth paste.

Very cool card, love the texture from the paste (and thanks for sharing the recipe). I also like your romantic vine and placement of the sequins - nice!

Those variegated purples make a fantastic backdrop for your pretty vine. Thanks for the recipe; I'm pretty sure the paste I bought ages ago is drier than a brick.
