My daughter was our VBS director and we just finished the program called Monumental - think southwestern, desert, cacti, etc. She wanted thank you notes for her lead volunteers of different areas so I made a batch of these for her. They did morph a little in the process.
The top one on the right was the first one. The rest have a vanilla matting layer.
I used the long stamp from Work of Art for the straight part of the cactus then both ends of the grounding stamp from Sheltering Tree for the two branches from the cactus. A flower from Jar of Love for the cactus flower. Another Work of Art stamp for the Merry Merlot cactus and then heat embossed the sentiment. I did sponge Soft Suede at the base to ground the cacti and added some gold ribbon for some sparkle and shine.
Thanks for looking!

These are fabulous. We are going to be doing that same program this week at my church. I am helping with the hospitality room for the teachers when they have their scheduled breaks. Maybe I should do something this nice for our director who ended up having to replace our paid staff person who usually is in charge, but out on her maternity leave.
