Awesome patriotic colors this week for the color challenge (Real Red, white, and Pacific Point). I had to do a substitute on the blue and used Ballet Blue - Wow, that is from way back many years ago. I seem to have more than a life time supply of paper, and I'm trying to hold off in getting any more until I use up all my stash from the past! Trying to get it down to a half life-time supply LOL!
I kept my card sweet and simple for a special friend who happens to have been born on the 4th of July!

I remember Ballet Blue! I liked that color (and I'm sure I still have some, too!) How lucky for your friend to share a birthday with our country! This card is perfect, and I know she'll love it!

Terrific! Love how you used the colors for this fun birthday card. The embossed stars are beautiful. The dots are a nice touch. I love Ballet Blue and still have some. I enjoyed your comment about using paper up to have only half a lifetime supply. LOL I'm trying to do the same thing with the retired colors! I keep buying the newer colors. Love your card. Nicely done! I like the sentiment, too. Great card.

What a special birthday card for someone with a July 4th birthday! The texture on the stars adds extra interest and your placement of the enamel dots is perfect to balance the other elements. Nice job, great card!
