This card is a study in ways to make corrections as you go along. I sort of followed the Northern Lights tutorial for the BG, but splattered white acrylic paint for stars (not very visible in the photo), hiding one blotch with a rhinestone for a star. Also fixed a blotch on the sentiment with another rhinestone. Stacked the bear 4 times and popped up on foam mounts. I was only going to stack 3, but didn't like the colors I originally used for his scarf, so made a new one and added him on top. Tore the edges of the snow and sponged with turquoise ink. Colored the bear with watercolor pencils.

Beautiful! The gem covering up your splotch was meant to be. I really like your Northern Lights bg. Sometimes it seems that all your efforts are working against you....you ended up with a lovely card. And I love seeing the cold bg on such a hot day.

Oh wow, what a really beautiful background, Faith. I'm always wary of splattering because of the way it can go wrong - but a rhinestone for a sparkling star is the perfect rescue. What a lovely polar bear stamp, too.
