This is one of those challenges that you just have to throw yourself into and have FAITH! As I painted this, all I could see was a globby mess and then in the blink of an eye it really did turn into a basket of flowers. My basket hangar is attached to a wall rather than on a pole.
This will go to my sister who just came down with COVID along with both her children AND husband. Nothing worse than to be sick and still have to be the one to care for a houseful of other sickies . . . . .

Your basket of flowers is beautiful and just what you told us, it looks like it won't be flowers and then there they are looking just like what you wanted. I really like your hangar, too. It looks perfectly sketched and painted....and the wall behind it.
How awful for your sister and the family. I pray they are all well soon. No better card to send with that sentiment.

Lovely basket of loose watercolor flowers. Your choice of colors is very pleasing to the eye. I like your subtle wall you created. Glad you enjoyed doing this painting and it will be sent to your sister. Sorry to hear that their family was hit with the virus. Thanks for joining us and sharing this fantastic creation.

Linda, your comment about a globby mess gave me the encouragement to try this because it does really look like a mess and then it turns out OK. Nice detail work on the hanger and the wall, too.
