I am a bit limited on my choice of stencils today since I am staying with my MIL this month. I made some stencils out of negative punch outs from a Paper Pumpkin kit I brought with me. I overlapped the mountains to cover the background and I really like the way that turned out. I think that by itself is a form of this technique, even though I only used one stencil to do that. To cover all the bases, I used a vine on the edge for the second stencil. It is also from a Paper Pumpkin punch out. I used the bear's head from the From All of Us stamp set. The *bush* in front of him is really the ostrich's tail. I had blueberries on my brain since I have been picking them all week, so these epoxy dots (also leftovers from a Paper Pumpkin) were perfect. The speech bubble is also a Paper Pumpkin leftover.
BTW--if you are ever traveling and need to take some stamping supplies with you, grab those Paper Pumpkin boxes that have been piling up. They are all-inclusive, so have a lot of what you will need. I always have a go-bag packed with the basics--a couple of basic stamp blocks, adhesives, markers, watercolor pencils, aquapainters, scissors and white paper. It has been a life-saver on this trip.
