This all started with a piece of partially SU Ice Cream DSP and last weekâs CAS challenge, to use a strip of paper somewhere in the card. I realized that cutting a strip from the leftover paper and flipping it would be a quick and color coordinated card, so I did that and attached both pieces to a white card base.
Then I got stuck, and there the card sat til I finished it today. I looked through my ridiculously huge collection of Dollar Tree stickers to find some that came close to matching the colors, and came up with this rather weird set of anime looking animals as cakes and ice cream cones. I decided the pug cupcake and the sentiment would work. I also decided that I wanted some contrast behind the pugcake so I cut the last bit of the DSP piece into a rectangle and rounded the corners. I glued to the card front and attached the sticker. I finished by attaching the sentiment sticker in the top corner. Iâm not sure how CAS it is at this point, but it does have a strip.
I have no idea who Iâm going to send this to, but I do like how it turned out!
USEIT2022: Used up a piece of DSP that I love, completely! Woo! Also used some stickers that are old enough that the foam backing didnât work anymore and I had to use my own foam tape instead.
