I decide to try a 2nd card with this week's challenge technique. I stamped a trio of balloons. I did a wash with teal, lt blue and peony. The wash was applied over the entire piece but while it was still wet, I lifted some of the color off the balloons with a paper towel. I added several more layers of color to the bg to create shadows, thus helping to bring the balloons into the forefront. I used a gold Gelly roll pen to doodle around the ballons for a bit more definitiona dn add some strings.

Those balloons really do pop with your darker shadows. I love the colors you used for the wash. It's an awesome card.
