I made this card for 2 challenge- the Alpha challenge this week is D=Die cut and I am always happy to use something for the first time : ) I also made a card for the color challenge celebration using Karens colors. I went through old packs of in colors and was so happy to see I had these colors. I cut the background die 3 times- once in each color, and then inlaid the colors into the background. And, I have saved all of the extras for make 2 more cards with the backers in the future. The scalloped edge in green is the desert for this challenge.

Beautiful! I love that both the colours and the die cut design remind me of the US southwest! You must have the patience of a saint to pull this off and then think of making further cards. :-) This is a great card!

Awesome die-cuts. Love how you inlaid the small squares. Wonderful design for the colors, too. You even used a scallop edge. Great card! Thanks for joining in with the 900th Color Challenge!
