A big congrats to Ona, the newest Featured Stamper! She has an amazing gallery of scrapbook pgs & after much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I kept the colors & layout, but used stamps & dies & changed it from a page layout to an A2 card.
After stamping the girl & greeting, I colored & die cut it, backing it w/ a narrow layer of lt yellow. The cobalt bg was die cut w/ a piercing die. To make it show up even more, I backed it w/ a layer of cardstock covered w/ aluminum foil. It really catches the light nicely.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ more pics & Copic colors: The Write Stuff

Adorable and, as always, your coloring is superb. I love how the pierced flowers in the cobalt layer echoes the floral theme of the image. Fabulous card.

Totally love this card Julie and am blown away by it, also thrilled to bits that one of my layouts was able to inspire you to create it!! That blue background with the pierced pattern is just stunning and that stamped girl of yours is just wonderful!!

Julie, this is such a stunning case of Ona's card. The cobolt blue pierced layer is the perfect background to set off your beautiful girl image. Your coloring on the dress and flowers is absolutely amazing (as always). The thin yellow frame layer behind the image was just the perfect finishing touch.

Love how you colored the girl's skirt!! What a genius idea to back your stitched panel with the aluminum foil!!

Love all your beautiful bright colors against that blue background, Julie. That is something I had not heard of to use the foil. Neat tip! Love, love your coloring on the birthday girl's skirt and bouquet!
