I always think 'gender neutral' and I love when I can dip my hand into my stash and pull out stuff.
I met my son in law in 2013, when he and daughter Liz were still undergrads at UW-L. He decided we should go for a drive along the Mississippi River, we went in Liz's new to her car (a little white Infiniti that cost a lot to maintain) and drove like a maniac on all the curvy roads. I held on for dear life and I've never let him forget it. We joke about it but I never ever will let him forget about it. Good thing I like him and love him.
So this will go to him for Father's Day. He is the only father I have left to send anything to. And he's a good one. He has grown up a lot since he became a husband and Dad, he still can drive me nuts as he has lots of ideas that cost money, time and worry. He's a lot like his Dad. His Dad said to me when I lost my job, 'so what's your 5 year plan?' I told him I didn't know what I was doing the next day. I'm grateful that we headed Liz northwest to LaCrosse for college, she met him, married him and I have two granddaughters. BTW, the ai on the gel plate is just splattered with lots of colors and printed on paper like Yupo or the like. Easy! The background is cardstock that I scraped on many colors of acrylic paint with a palette knife and the sentiment is stamped on a scrap of ink blended paper. Waste not, want not.

I love the variety of arrows, and the story of your son-in-law!! Seems a perfect card for him!

Masculine cards are such fun to make and I really love yours! Those arrows look fab against your salvaged background! So glad you have this wonderful son-in-law to honor on Father's Day!
