Trying to catch up on my monthly goal for 2022 Christmas cards. I went through all my SCS Favorites and flagged everything Christmas related (or convert-able).
This was a Fun First for me. I diluted refill inks and spritzed both colors onto already damp card stock. I used a paper towel to block ink from most of my background, then textured the wet paper for a deeper impression. I cut the floral elements, spritzed and then placed the damp paper back into the dies to emboss them. Assembled with glue dots and popped up the sentiment with foam backing.
I like the soft colors and even the bit of discoloration from adhesive that transferred into the petals and leaves - although I obviously should have cleaned the dies before I used them.
