I kept the pink and green colors, but I chose a diagonal striped paper rather than a plaid paper. The paper is normally pink and white - I used an alcohol marker to color a green stripe inside each white section.
I kept the trio of green hearts, but I chose a stamp with a trio of heart balloons rather than separate punched hearts.
I kept the word "love" in my sentiment also, but I chose a different sentiment to use on my card. I stamped this at an angle in the same direction as the diagonal stripes.
I added a critter to my card, which is a sweet baby elephant holding the cluster of balloons.

Delightful! The colors work perfectly together and your changes to the original are clever and effective. I too have added a needed color to striped papers but had forgotten that option so thanks for the reminder. Fantastic case!

This is a great case of Faye's card. I love how you used her same color combination and yet created something totally different. I love your little elephant and balloons.

So darn cute. I love how you added that green stripe into the paper pattern. Looks fab and really ties in your green balloons. Love how you took the elements from the inspiration card, such as the three hearts, and changed them a bit to make this uniquely yours. Anyone receiving this will both feel loved and will love it. Great card.
