Congrats to Faye (FayeMakesCards) our Featured Stamper today.
I was inspired by the most recent card in her gallery - Zeph. 3:17.
I used less colors on my background, sponged them horizontal and over the full card rather than at an angle with only half coverage.
I did not add any frames.
I used a different Bible verse stamp and added enamel dots.
I recently made a bunch of masked and sponged backgrounds with friends on a zoom craft get together and this is one of them. I tore strips of computer paper and sponged over different strips so the lines weren't all the same.
Enjoy your week in the FS Gallery Faye and thank you for the inspiration!

You even do CAS fabulously. I love the look and color of that background, Julia. Super pretty verse too. Lovely case. Hugz

Julia, this is a great case of Faye's card. I absolutely love your pink masked layer background. So smart and creative to use different torn layers. It is so whimsical looking and perfect to set off the inspirational bible verse.

I love your sponged bg. Using the different strips really created a beautiful inked bg. Simply adding that verse is all it needed. And such a beautiful and encouraging verse. Fabulous card. Fav'd.
