On my last visit to Joanns I picked up some clearance Martha Stewart cardstock for 35 cents a piece. I got some lovely dark yellow, light green, and aqua. I realized they were perfect for this week's color challenge, especially once I added the chipboard moth from the same shopping trip that definitely had the mango coloring in it!
I started with a white cardbase and layered on a rectangle of the aqua cardstock, cut slightly smaller. I cut the vine from green cardstock with the Big Shot and punched several yellow flowers with the SU punch that has three small flowers. I glued the vine to the card front, and added bling stickers to the flowers centers and attached them. I glued on the chipboard embellishment. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of white cardstock and cut it out, then rounded the corners and attached with foam tape. I love this color combo, great challenge!

Wow, this turned out beautifully. I am loving the look of the colors against the blue backdrop. Isn't it cool the way the look changes depending on which color you choose to feature the most. That chipboard moth was a lucky find because it works as great here and is the perfect finishing touch. Wonderful card.

What terrific shopping finds. How wonderful you could use some of your new stuff right away for the Color Challenge! Love the textured background. I like the cute vine and flowers. Nice touch to have a little bling, too. Great card.
