This was the project I did at a retirement home with 7 adults. It was a bit more involved than usual but they did a great job. I love this way of doing shaker cards because of the final result and the fact that they are relatively flat for mailing.
On the ones I finished at home afterward, I added a tiny red clay heart in that blue area.
It was really fun to watch their reactions when they started blending the ink and seeing the image emerge.
One thing I thought would be simple was placing the strips of paper diagonally on the backing piece that was covered with dot runner tape. However, it's easy to forget about the various infirmities that they deal with. They are still very sure of what they are doing but the results say otherwise.
