| | This is a recipe challenge requiring 5 elements. 1. Something starting with B are my boats. 2. I used Smooth Sailing and Layering Diorama dies as well as the Sailboat builder punch. 3. Cloudy Day and Tasteful Textiles were the embossing folders I used. 4. The Subtle colors I used were Balmy Blue, Pear Pizzazz, Highland Heather and Soft Sea Foam. 5. Balmy Blue glimmer paper was my something shiny. I used the Layering Diorama dies to cut out my top two layers and the water. I embossed the front Pear Pizzazz piece, positioning the two embossing folders so the clouds were on the upper portion and the textured part below to look like sand. With the Sailboat builder punch I cut the boat and mast piece from Highland Heather CS and the sails from Simply Marbelous DSP. I stamped the small sailboat in pool party ink on Balmy Blue CS and die cut it. Using the pool party ink I stamped the tree and boat stamp on both Balmy Blue CS and Soft Sea Foam CS and fussy cut them separately. I arranged the scene and glued them down. The top layer I put up on dimensionals to add a little perspective. I finished it up with the tall grasses, the sentiment and some enamel shapes. |
