Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us a beautiful combination to try out: Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green. The dessert option is Anything Goes. My dessert option is to use a fourth color. My added color is Pale Papaya.
I made this card for my Mah Jongg group to send to a former member who has moved thousands of miles away. We do miss her!
I stamped the image, then colored with Copic markers and added details with a colored pencil. The Mango Melody is just a touch in the flower pot. The main image is popped up on foam tape. I used white craft reinker brayered on the inside of the brick embossing folder to lighten the grout between the bricks. Die cut the greeting, and added a few die cut flowers and leaves. Decorated the centers of the flowers with small opal rounds in Pale Papaya.
This is such a pretty color combination; I do hope you'll find some time this week to play along with us!
