This week we are visiting the wonderful Gallery of Pam Strobel (aka pammyjo). I love her fresh, happy style and her beautiful color combinations -- so rich and lovely. As it happened, I had to take a break about half-way through the slide show. When I returned, I put Bob Marley on my phone and restarted the show. This is the first card that popped up and, as instructed, I smiled: Petite Petals in 15 Min. by Pammyjo at Splitcoaststampers
I did finish the slideshow, but I knew this was the one for today. I kept her tropical blooms; striped layer; and smile sentiment. But, my flowers are a cascade instead of a line; different images and colors; and added a nod to a birthday theme.
I was going to use Pam's colors, but found these blooms already colored and cut in my stash. I made the striped panel by coloring each stripe of the stamp with a brush marker. To keep the greens consitent, I colored the edges of white cs and a scrap of white cs with the green marker. The mod die is a two piece set with both the skinny and fat versions of each letter. Assembled and added stickles to the stamen for a little something extra.
Congratulations Pam on being selected this week's Featured Stamper. I found so many cards that inspired me and I have marked several for return visits. I hope you enjoy your week and all the cards you have inspired. Hope everyone's day is as happy as a reggae tune...don't I wish I was in Jamaica though. LOL. TFL

Love the way you coordinated your striped background and border with your gorgeous blooms. This is so perfect for the hot weather we are experiencing now. Our first heat wave of the season. I love hibiscus flowers and you've coloured yours perfectly!
