Dawn and I have the same birthday in August. When I see these bright green gems like our shared birthstone Peridot, I think of her. I did not end up with a clone, but I was definitely inspired by her card. I changed it up by putting the flowers in the middle and the sentiment at the bottom corner. Some of the supplies I used from my stash were sent from Dawn when we were swap partners here on SCS.
I used the same color card base and put a white embossed panel on top. The floral paper in the middle has a gold foil background â hard to tell in the picture. I tucked in some prima flowers and used a wood flower at the top. The circle was stamped & punched and then a circle of rhinestones was placed on top. It is popped up. I used a strip across of gold striped washi tape. Lots of âperidotâ gems!
Thanks for sharing your wonderful cards with us, Dawn and for inspiring me in many ways! TFL

So beautiful! I love your florals, your colors with the pop of yellows, your flowers and die cut flower, and the Peridot gems. Not a clone but a beautiful CASE for sure!

Well Diane, I think you hit this right on the (peri)dot! It's so cheerful and happy and the gemstone flourishes are a beautiful punctuation to finish the card. Love the hibiscus print on that dp. And, like Polly, I love that you added so many elements that connect you with Dawn. Isn't it great how something as simple as paper and can help us forge these bonds. Wonderful card and I am sure Dawn will really appreciate all those special elements.
