Just in the nick of time to finish the May mixed media challenge. I used the prompts: blue, lace, napkin (doily), text, and spraying inks. I went with a monochrome in the new SU color Tahitian Tide, a very chipper turquoise blue. Three types of SU paper: the solid, pattern and glimmer. I spritzed a piece of watercolor paper with two different sprays: Lindy's Gang Starburst Spray in TiffanyLou Blue and Nuvo Mica Spray in Nebula Blue. Let it dry then used the largest sentiment die I own-to cut a great BIG love. The text/script is heat embossed in white. Pleated the doily for a little ruffle in the corner and glued on the lace butterfly.
I will be sending this card to my sister who just learned that one of her friends has entered hospice.
