So, I had a couple flowers I had started painting last winter some time, ( at work during the slow times) This was originally intended to be a "vintage" watercolor. ( tutorial found here ) and I discarded the second part of it where you just add a bit of color and pen to the painting and used paints instead but, did get the bleed on the edges from the Distress stamping. So, I had added a lot more paint to those two images when my secretary was on vacation, and I finished off two of them this week because, I thought I could use one for the IC tonight. ( this is the other one) the sentiment had already been cut and stamped and the base was a left over from the sample I had made for the watercolor challenge earlier that did not happen. ( so this was really my first ever 10 minute card) all I did tonight was cut out the flowers from the background and tape it to the card front, glue on the sentiment and line the inside. Thanks for this challenge Misti, & tfl.

The textured cardstock looks great with the subdued but still bright poppies. (I shudder to think what a ten-minute card by me would look like - a folded sheet of paper?)

I love your watercoloring on these pretty flowers.
