This week's Featured Stamper, Kim (aka berlycece) has a delightful Gallery filled colorful images and wonderful designs to inspire. While I had several candidates, this is the one that I kept coming back to: CAS Colorful Ornaments by berlycece at Splitcoaststampers. I love the look of her three die cuts and the CAS style of the card which I kept, but I changed the colors, the images and the occasion for the card.
I had intended to use Kim's color scheme, but whenever I think of the recipient of this card I always think of her sunny disposition so it had to be yellow. I think this dahlia is a bit too big for the design, but I love the shape so I stubbornly stayed with it and substituted plain circles for two additional flowers which looked way too busy.
To construct the card, I cut out two circles from white cs and ink blended the light yellow. I used the matching die for the flower and cut five layers of card stock. After laying it out, it still needed something, so out came the reliable Weathered EF and sequins. Add a sentiment and it's done.
Congratulations Kim. Your Gallery is filled with wonderful designs and as I browsed your older cards I saw so many that made me want to pull out some of my older and much loved stamps. Thank you for the push to do that. I hope you enjoy your week and and the cards you have inspired. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. TFL

Debbie, this is such a pretty case of Kim's card. Yellow is one of my favorite colors for flowers. I think your flower is so lovely popped up over the yellow circles. So elegant.

Gorgeous! Beautifully designed. The coloring and shading on the bold flower are fabulous. The inked rounds and the white EF in the BG are perfect details.
